Farr 56 Pilot House 2004

NEW REDUCED PRICE - READY TO GO! The Farr 56 Pilot House is the ideal yacht in the range for the long term cruising couple who plan to spend extended periods of time on board without the need for additional crew. It shares the light and airy pilothouse, large internal volume, cavernous deck storage, great machinery access and a palatial aft cabin, that have all become the signature of the Pilot house range. A modern yacht has to fulfil many functions from blasting along in the tradewinds, sailing around the bay in light winds to corporate entertaining or providing a safe platform for family holidays. The Farr 56 is at home and comfortable in all of these habitats.

This 2004 example was one of the last built and has many upgrades from new.  A fully carbon mast with hydraulic furling on the North manufactured Mainsail, Staysail & Genoa. Twin carbon spinnaker poles with spinnaker & MPG sails.  Hydraulic retracatable bow thruster and hydraulic windlass.  Generator (new 2010), diesel heating system (2 x Eberspacher 4Kw units), air conditioning in saloon and master cabin, vacuum toilets, leather upholstery and electronics galore.....

One owner from new, this boat has been well maintained.

Additional Comments:

Bruce Farr has designed an exceptional performance cruiser.  The owner comments "......... we kitted her out for just the two of us to long distance cruise with back up systems to ensure our safety in the event of a system going down.  This we achieved, an added bonus was her exhilarating performance as she was rarely overtaken whilst cruising up and down the Caribbean Island chain  yet was always a pleasure to sail singled handed as the minimum effort is required."
