Owners Comments
What we like most about Asherah:

She is a Rustler 42! Once seen, always preferred. She is eye catchingly beautiful and has been admired wherever we have sailed her.

Like all R42s, she is fast and sails exceptionally well even in lighter airs. She has a very solid, secure and stable feel, which inspires confidence in all on board. The design of the entry and hull shape ensures smooth passage through the water in practically all conditions.

The dusky pink upholstery tones well with the gorgeous teak interior, creating a cosy, mellow feel to below decks. At the same time as functional when sailing and navigating in wet weather gear.

We love her and feel privileged to have owned and sailed her since commissioning - to so many interesting places. However, now it is time for us to step back and leave someone else the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful yacht. Bon voyage - Asherah will look after you!

As for photographs, we only have a few of her on the move, taken by fellow yachtsmen aboard their yachts - always from behind!

Why did we name her Asherah?

ASHERAH: the Phoenician goddess, protector of sailors and sea-farers. ‘She who treads over the waves’. Picture a beautiful lady with long, wavy blond hair in a long flowing white gown - or a white hull, beige canvas work and a gold line.
