Overview

Design and Presence

This Rustler 33 can only be described as beautiful. Finished in British Racing Green with a beige non-slip deck, she presents a striking and elegant alternative to the more common teak-decked examples. The contrast between the dark hull, light deck, and black spars gives her a distinctive, head-turning presence both afloat and under sail.

Electric Propulsion

One of the defining features of this yacht is her electric drive system, meaning there is no diesel or petrol engine on board. Power is provided by a Torqeedo electric system, offering quiet, clean, and low-maintenance propulsion. As a result, she delivers a very different ownership experience, focused on simplicity and efficiency. Full details, including expected range, are available on enquiry.

Rig and Sailing Performance

The yacht is fitted with a carbon mast and boom, finished in black, which not only enhance performance but also complement the hull colour beautifully. This lighter rig improves responsiveness under sail and contributes to her balanced, rewarding sailing characteristics. An asymmetric downwind sail is also included, adding versatility for cruising and passage making.

Deck and Cockpit Layout

Instead of teak side decks, this Rustler 33 features non-slip moulded decks, reducing maintenance while maintaining a clean, purposeful look. Teak has been retained where it matters most, with teak to the cockpit sole and coamings, providing warmth and grip in the cockpit.

Instrumentation and Equipment

The yacht is equipped with B&G instruments, supporting clear and reliable navigation. In addition, a solar panel provides trickle charging, while cockpit and coachroof mooring covers protect the yacht when not in use. Together, these features support practical and low-impact cruising.

Condition and Ownership

This Rustler 33 has had two owners from new and has been lightly sailed throughout her life. Because of this careful use, she presents in exceptional condition, very much living up to the original brochure description.

Broker's Comments

This is a really special Rustler 33, and one that stands apart the moment you see her. The British Racing Green hull, black carbon spars, and clean deck layout look fantastic together, and the electric drive gives her a calm, modern feel that suits the design surprisingly well. She feels light, responsive, and beautifully finished, with a level of presentation that reflects careful ownership. For sailors looking for a Rustler that combines classic style with forward-thinking technology, this is a rare and very appealing opportunity.
