ENGINE AND STERN GEAR

Engine is flexibly mounted with built-in drip tray, located directly over the keel, perfect for weight distribution. Superb access via hinged lid with ability to remove all surrounding panels.
Beta (Kubota based) 50hp diesel engine with 2:1 Hurth hydraulic gearbox
Serviced every year.- approx 900 hrs (September 2026)
Seawater cooled, freshwater system through a heat exchanger.
Engine compartment is insulated with non-combustible foam sound deadening material.
Engine bay fan ventilated
Single lever engine control on steering pedestal.
Engine control panel with associated instruments mounted in cockpit including: tachometer, oil pressure and temperature audible alarm, alternator warning light, starter switch and engine stop control.
Stainless steel tank, holding approximately 320 litres (75gallons) filled from the side deck and vented outboard.

Primary filter/water separator in addition to the engine fuel filter.
Safety waterlock is fitted at lowest point of the engine cooling system and water return is looped and vented to prevent syphoning.

ACCOMMODATION

OVERALL – The interior joinery is constructed from high quality solid teak wood and marine faced quality plywood. The interior hull is flo-coated below the waterline and lined with a moisture resistant material above the waterline. All locker doors and drawers have secure push button catches. Eberspascher 5DL diesel heating system feeding warm air to Saloon and cabin areas. Full length grab rail to starboard side companionway. Curtains and screens to all port lights and deck hatches.

14 gallon calorifier tank supplying hot water either heated from engine or immersion heater from shore power.
Space for 3 x gas bottles stored in a vented locker under helmsman seat.  Gas piped in rigid copper pipe to galley, flexible hose to the cooker and an additional isolation valve fitted by the cooker.
All grey water can be discharged to holding tank – depending on geographical areas
